Online Facilitator Training — Faculty who complete the Socrates Online Facilitator Training program set the standard in online instruction. By guiding students to achieve their own learning objectives, Socrates-trained instructors encourage critical thinking, facilitate discussion within the classroom, build online learning communities and share real-world expertise and experiences. One hundred percent of the instructors leading online courses for EDMC learning institutions have completed this program.
Introduction to Online Education — Successful online learning programs require a supportive school structure and an understanding of the services, course construction, course delivery and learning tools that will help students achieve learning objectives. This training program introduces staff and administrators to broad concepts of online learning so they might more effectively contribute to the development, implementation and maintenance of a quality online learning experience for students.
