Online Course FTP Folders
All files uploaded to your course’s FTP folder will be permanently deleted 10 days after your course has ended. You are responsible for creating backups of all of your work.
Example:
The last day of your course is March 1, 2005; on March 12, 2005, all of the files will be permanently deleted. |

Technical Information

If
you are experiencing problems connecting to your course FTP folder,
please follow these steps:

- You will be presented with a screen that looks like this:

- Enter
the following information in the appropriate fields (see above):
- URL:
65.36.243.3
- User
Name:
ftptest
- Password:
test123abc
*this example is to be used only for this tutorial and not your homework.

- Click the button indicated above, you will now be connected to the FTP folder
- Please read the instruction that come with this program for specific details regarding the transferring of files (Click on HELP from the main toolbar and then CONTENTS).
When
you try to connect to your course FTP folder, you will have
to substitute a couple of the above values:
Substitute
ftptest with the LOGIN you where given for your
course FTP folder
Substitute
test123abc
with the PASSWORD you where given for your course FTP folder

- To see a live view of the files in the FTPTEST folder, open your favorite browser and type the following URL:
http://www.studentprojectarea.com/ftptest
When you want to see the files in your course FTP folder, you will have to substitute the last part of the above URL:
Substitute ftptest with the LOGIN you where given for the FTP folder, followed by any other sub-directories.
Example:
If the LOGIN for your course FTP folder is: eng101f02b and your files are located in a sub-directory called john_doe , the full URL you would use is:
http://www.studentprojectarea.com/eng101f02b/john_doe
